More than 30 student groups and campus departments are working toward the goal of collecting 1,000 pints of blood at a time of year when it’s most needed. (And yes, while we’re at it, snagging the North Carolina collegiate record for most pints would be pretty sweet, too.)

A resolution that's easy to keep (and it benefits more than just you)

Give 2014 a positive start with a life-giving act.

The end of December is typically a time to reflect on events of the past year and consider what we would like to do better in the upcoming year. That’s what New Year’s resolutions are all about. As you ponder your resolution list, will you consider starting 2014 with a commitment to give a gift that gives life, and gives life, and gives life?

That repetition was not a typo. Donating just one pint of blood can help save the lives of up to three people!
