On Campus Safety Escort/Accessible Service: Mon – Sun 4:30 pm – 2:30 am
- Departs from Library Entrance every 30 minutes starting at 6 pm, last trip to leave library at 12:30 am.
- On demand service available to anyone by calling 704-687-2200 (72200 from campus phone)
- Stops as closely as possible to riders requested destination and returns to the Library every 30 minutes
Yellow Cab Offers UNC Charlotte Flat-Rate Service
Parking and Transportation Services has negotiated a partnership with Yellow Cab Company to provide discounted, flat-rate taxi service for short distance travel near campus and common destination points such as UNC Charlotte's uptown center and the airport.
Yellow Cab Company has placed a cab stand in Lot 13 (located off Cameron along the entrance road to Greek Village) where up to 4 cabs may be staged for quick response to calls originating from UNC Charlotte. The PaTS-Yellow Cab partnership offers students, faculty and staff a guaranteed rate of $8.50* for trips within a 2-mile radius of campus.
Flat-rate service is also available to Charlotte Douglas International Airport ($35.50*), Amtrak station (18.50*), Greyhound bus station (26.50*) and the UNC Charlotte Uptown Center at 220 North Tryon Street (26.50*). Yellow Cabs rates to local shopping malls are: Southpark, $35.75*; Northlake $25.75*; Concord Mills, $19.00*.

Car sharing has come to UNC Charlotte!
Connect by Hertz offers qualified drivers, ages 18 years and up, environmentally friendly vehicles to rent at a low rate – by the hour or the day. Members access cars using a Smart Card and only pay for the time they rent the car.

RESERVE

- Members choose from a list of vehicle locations and block out

ACCESS
- Member must have a reservation to activate Access Card
- Hold Access Card over the card reader to unlock the vehicle
- Start the car by using the ignition key found in the docking station in the console or glove compartment
DRIVE
- Pick up the car in the reserved parking area
RETURN
- Members must return the vehicle to the reserved on-campus parking spot where it was picked up.
