CATS Campus Shuttle

The campus shuttle is a FREE RIDE.Norrn getting on a shuttle

Shuttle runs during Fall and Spring semester, Monday - Friday, except for breaks and holidays when the University is closed.

Red Line Route 50 (CRI Cross-Campus)

Service hours:
Monday - Thursday 6:30AM - 10PM
Friday 6:30AM - 6PM

  • Monday - Thursday daytime schedule: two buses, 1 clockwise, 1 counter-clockwise, 6:30AM - 6PM (about every 15 minutes)
  • Monday - Thursday evening schedule: one bus running clockwise, 6PM - 10PM (about every 20-30 minutes)
  • Friday schedule: one bus running clockwise, 6:30AM - 6PM (about every 20-30 minutes) 

Red Line Rt. 50 Schedule

Service Stops: Lot 6A, East Deck 3, East Deck 1, Fretwell, Parking Services, Student Union/CHHS, Woodward Hall, CRI West, CRI East, Hickory Hall, Student Health Services, Hawthorne Hall

Yellow Line Route 47 (South Campus)

Monday - Thursday 7:30AM - 10PM

Green Line Route 49 (Starlight Cinema remote parking/North Campus)

Service hours:
Monday - Thursday 6AM - 6PM

  • Monday - Thursday daytime schedule: two buses, 1 clockwise, 1 counter-clockwise, 6AM - 6PM (about every 15 minutes)
  • Friday daytime schedule: one bus, 6AM - 6PM (about every 30 minutes)
  • First shuttle departs from Starlight to UNC Charlotte at 6AM. Last shuttle picks up at the Student Union at 5:45PM
  • Riders departing from off campus stops such as Starlight Cinema remote parking, 901 Place, The Flats, and UVillage are required to present a specific bus pass. Without the pass, Charlotte Area Transit will require a $1.75 fare
  • No pass is required for Green Line stops within Campus limits
