Dining hours 

COVID-19 precautions

  • All dining locations are now cashless.
  • Retail orders must be placed through the NinerDiners Mobile Ordering app.
  • Dining patrons must wear masks inside dining areas anytime they are not eating or drinking.
  • Ground stickers are placed throughout queueing areas to promote social distancing.
  • Plexiglass is installed at all food stations.
  • Tables have been spaced appropriately and seating occupancy has been reduced in all dining areas. A maximum of six guests per table is allowed. Moving furniture to increase table occupancy is prohibited.
  • Stickers have been installed on tables to indicate where patrons should sit. Please do not move tables or chairs.
  • Additional seating areas have been added to nearby outside areas.
  • Self-service has been removed from all dining halls. A dining associate will fill your plate for you.
  • Patrons must use a fresh cup and plate when getting seconds. Refills are not prohibited in retail areas.
  • Sanitization and disinfection processes have been increased throughout all facilities.
  • Dining associates wear gloves and masks, wash their hands more frequently and undergo daily wellness checks.

  • All textbook rental returns must be mailed.
  • Fall textbooks must be ordered online.
  • Plexiglass has been installed at all counter service

  • Hand sanitizer is available in store for employee and customer use.
  • High touch surfaces are disinfected frequently.
  • Directional signage has been installed throughout the store to create one-way traffic patterns.
  • In-store occupancy has been reduced.

  • Use of debit/credit cards to pay for services is strongly encouraged.
  • Staff are wearing masks and gloves and practicing social distancing.
  • Plexiglass has been installed at the register.
  • Social distancing ground stickers have been placed in queuing areas.
  • All high touch surfaces are disinfected frequently.

If you are in quarantine or isolation in campus housing, your mail will be held at Mail & Package Services until you are released. Your mail will not be returned. For questions, contact Tracey Copeland or Horace Lytch.

Union Station

  • Only one customer allowed inside Union Station at a time.
  • Staff are wearing masks and gloves and practicing social distancing.

  • Customers must book an appointment to receive service.
  • Payment with a credit/debit card is requested.
  • Plexiglass has been installed at the counter.

  • Hand sanitizer stations are being installed. 
  • High touch surfaces are disinfected frequently. 

Vending

  • The national coin shortage is impacting the vending program. Please use a bank card, 49er Account or the exact amount at campus machines because it’s possible that return change may not be available.
  • Vending machines will be serviced as requested until October 1, 2020, when they will return to a regular restocking schedule.
  • To request a machine repair or restock, call the number posted on the machine that requires service or call Auxiliary Services at (704) 687-7352.
